What We Believe

"What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." - A.W. Tozer

Core Beliefs

We believe in only one triune God eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe the Bible is the verbally inspired and infallible Word of God.

We believe Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary and is the Son of God.

We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.

We believe that Christ rose from the grave the third day according to the Scriptures.

We believe that Christ alone is our Great High Priest, and we do not need any other person to intercede for us.

We believe that to be saved, a person must be born again by placing faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

We believe that every truly born-again individual should declare his faith by the act of baptism (immersion in water) showing forth Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe that Christ keeps everyone who is truly born again.

We believe that all Christians are called unto a life of separation from worldly and sinful practices, and to a life of usefulness for Christ.

We believe that the local church is a body of baptized believers whose mission is to exalt Christ, encourage and edify believers, and to preach and teach the Gospel of salvation to all people.

We believe that God has given the local church a great commission to proclaim the Gospel both locally and globally to all nations.
